 Solar water heaters

Solar panels are one of the most cost-effective uses of clean energy. They are most cost-effective when used to heat the water used within a home, school, hotel or in some industrial applications.

Solar hot water heaters can be installed just about anywhere in the Kingdom of Thailand or we can design a package to your specific needs or supply individual parts for export.

The size of systems depends of the amount of Hot Water needed. For a simple house the daily consumption of hot water can easily assessed based on the figures bellow.

• Shower – 35-75 litres
• Bath in a standard tub – 100 litres
• Kitchen - Dish Washing, Cooking and Cleaning – 40-60 litres
• Washing machine (hot water wash with a warm rinse) – 160 litres
• Washing machine (warm wash with a cold rinse) – 35 litres

We can supply all sorts of solar water heaters for either home, commercial or industrial use and formulate the correct system for each individual project.

Most properly-designed solar water heaters will supply 70 per cent or more of all the energy needed for water heating

This is a basic simple drawing of a typical system with an hot water storage tank. We can also branch off the piping directly to a thermostatic electric or gas water heater reducing the use and probably the need of the heating element. Utilising a insulated hot water storage tank can dramatically reduce water heating bills by more than 70% especially if a lot of hot water is used in the evenings. Please call PGA for further information. Our team can normally install a full working system in less than 3 days.
